How to play Durak

The same walkthrough the table opens with — you can replay it in the game at any time.

Welcome to Durak

“Durak” means fool. Empty your hand before your opponents — whoever is left holding cards loses. Let's walk through one hand.

The talon & trump

This is the talon (draw pile). The sideways card sets the trump suit — here it's ♦. A trump beats ANY card of another suit, so trumps are precious.

Your hand

These are your cards, sorted trumps-first. The glowing ones are the moves you're allowed to make right now.

Make your attack

You attack first. Tap your 6♠ to place it. Tip: you can tap several cards of the SAME rank to attack with them all at once.

Send it in

Your card is on the table. Press “Send attack ▸” so the opponent has to respond.

The opponent defends

To beat your card the defender must play a higher card of the same suit — or any trump. Watch them cover it.

Throw in or stop

Now you may throw in more cards — but only ranks already on the table. Or press Bito to end the bout and draw back up to six.

When you defend

When an opponent attacks you, tap a higher card of the same suit (or a trump) to beat it. If you can't — or don't want to — press “Take cards”. With more players, several can pile on at once!

You're ready

That's the whole loop: attack, defend, throw in, draw. Empty your hand once the talon runs out to win. Good luck — don't be the durak!
